This course will develop your skills and knowledge in a range of sectors within the travel and events industry including airlines, airports, travel agencies, tour operations, music festivals, event and wedding planning. You will have the opportunity to visit different visitor and event attractions and to participate in many college and external events.

You will study: Events organisation; Events: an overview; Event costing; Working as air cabin crew; Airport ground operations; European travel destinations; Travel products and services; Selling the travel and tourism product; Marketing; Economics.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 5 including English; or Intermediate Certificate: Tourism, Events and Customer Service; or other relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 5. Interview.
