Stirling Campus
2 introductory units are offered, which provide an overview of what economics is about and the sorts of analysis that economists use:
Introductory microeconomics - A broad introduction to microeconomics, which analyses how prices are set and resources are allocated in an economy.
Introductory macroeconomics - Macroeconomics is concerned with the factors affecting the level of national income, unemployment and inflation, the balance of payments and the scope and limitations
of government policy on these matters.
These two units provide a self-contained introduction to economics, and either unit can be taken on its own.
