This course is for prospective students, keen on a professional role in the construction industry, or for experienced construction operatives, who are looking to up-skill and enhance their promotion prospects.

The course focuses on the key knowledge required by a construction technician, site supervisor/agent/manager, to provide a strong grounding in construction methods, procedures, organisation and contractual arrangements.

This is Year 1 of a 2 year course.

Tuesday and Thursday - 6.00pm - 9.00pm.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher plus subjects at National 5 including a science or technological subject, or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship, or relevant NC or SVQ. Selection by interview and short test.

Progression Routes

HND in Architectural Technology, Building Surveying, Construction Management, and Quantity Surveying.
