Engineering - Practical and Theoretical skills in mechanical engineering (things that move or want to move), electronic engineering (wiring, soldering and understanding how our technology works), workshop skills (gaining the skills to make high tolerance objects using lathes, mills and hand tools), Computer Aided Design
Computing – A range of networking, programming and web design skills that can be transferred to a number of different career paths and jobs. The areas covered are fitting with the current trends and what STEM employers, amongst others, are looking for from employees.
Construction - An introduction to Civil Engineering
Work experience - Students will undertake a work experience unit within the course, which will increase employability within their preferred area of study
