You will study the following as part of the course:

Business Practices in Travel and Tourism; Selling Skills; Skills for Customer Care; Tourist Destinations; Travel and Tourism: An Introduction; Travel and Tourism: Enhancing Skills for Employment; Accommodation and Package Holidays; Airport Ground Operations: An Introduction; British Isles Tourist Destinations; European and Mediterranean Tourist Destinations; Marketing in Travel and Tourism: An Introduction; Resort Representation: An Introduction; Working as Air Cabin Crew: An Introduction.

As part of the course you will develop core skills in communication, information technology, problem solving, team-working and numeracy.

Entry Requirements

2 subjects at National 5 including English; or another English based subject. Knowledge of Geography and IT skills helpful but not necessary. Selection by interview.
