Level up your knowledge of business and finance with this course, which offers an even spread
of accounting, administration and IT and business units. You’ll be working towards identifying
your strengths and which direction you might want to go in your career or further study, while
getting a strong foundation in essential subject areas such as economics, law, enterprise and
book-keeping.

Contents include: Accounting: Financial, management and book-keeping; Understanding business; Event organisation; Communication in business; Contract law; Using digital technologies in business; Market operations and the Scottish economy; Recording cash and financial transactions; Information Technology?(Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access); Personal development activities.

Entry Requirements

4 subjects at National 4 including English and a maths based subject, or relevant Foundation Apprenticeship.

Progression Routes

Relevant NQ at SCQF Level 6 or HND.
