This course will get you work-ready giving you the skills you need for an apprenticeship in painting and decorating.

Content includes:

specialist finishes for decorative work; specialist architectural finishes; using spraying equipment; papering complex surfaces; discovering and preventing faults and defects; pattern and paper types; organising, planning and pricing jobs; safely erecting and dismantling access equipment; health and safety in construction; and a real craft project.

Entry Requirements

Construction (Painting and Decorating) (NPA). Entry is subject to an interview process and possibly a skills test.

Progression Routes

An apprenticeship in painting and decorating, plastering, or wall and floor tiling.
