This computing course has an emphasis on Programming and enables you to specialise in Computer Science, Software Development, Networking or Technical Support. You will have the opportunity to study towards an Oracle Academy qualification as well as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA A+ and Microsoft MCITP qualifications which are highly desired by employers. You will also have the opportunity to enter World Skills competitions.

Entry Requirements

1 Higher plus 1 subject at National 5 from Maths, Computing Science or a science subject, or a relevant NC or equivalent qualification. Interview.

If you have a relevant HNC it may be possible to access second year of the HND.

Progression Routes

Entry to Year 2 or 3 of various relevant degree courses. Employment in intelligence, analysis or development.
