This certificate will provide you with a wide-ranging introduction to physics and its applications, covering classical mechanics, thermal physics, fields, waves, relativity, and quantum physics of solids, atoms and nuclei – setting many of them in their historical context. It will also introduce experimental physics.
There are no formal entry requirements to study this qualification. However, this is an OU level 2 certificate. You should ensure that you have adequate study skills, such as gained from OU level 1 study or its equivalent, before you begin.
Computer and internet access required.
On successful completion of the required courses you will be awarded a Certificate in Physics.
