This award allows students to study and gain knowledge in how to carry out a wide variety of beauty therapy treatments. Students will study a range of units, which include Facial Skin Care Manicure, Day Make up and Basic Corrective Make-up. To support this practical work, theory sessions will also be delivered, and all assessments are online with multiple choice questions. Core Skills for working in the beauty industry are an essential, timetabled part of this course.Students will be required to provide clients for assessment.

Relevant national qualifications at SCQF Level 4. Interview.
