Old Aberdeen Campus
The MTh in Systematic Theology affords a framework within which students may pursue advanced training in the discipline, cultivating the knowledge and skills required for doctoral-level study or for independent research and teaching in the field. The programme encourages sustained exploration of major Christian doctrines in their own right and in relation to other tracts of teaching.
The University of Aberdeen has long enjoyed an international reputation for excellence in the study of Christian theology and the Department of Divinity and Religious Studies remains a leading centre of theological training and research. On entry to the MTh in Systematic Theology, you will join a lively, collegial, international and ecumenical community commonly committed to the academically rigorous and spiritually rewarding study of Christian doctrine.
You must normally have an Honours degree to at least 2.1 standard in an appropriate discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience.
