Sponsorships and scholarships
Many big companies and other organisations, including universities, have schemes for helping students. These usually include work experience and training as well as money.
Sponsorship schemes vary so it’s important to read the relevant literature carefully. You normally need to apply early in the year before you start your course, and at least by the time you are filling in your online UCAS form.
This can be a great way to bring in some extra money and get valuable work experience. And the good news is that the SAAS ignores income from scholarships or sponsorships. So, if you get one, in student terms you’ll be rich!

These are available in most school and college careers libraries.
